Call to Action! Homework Assignment: Evolution Education

Florida Citizens for Science has launched the final Call to Action project in advance of the state board of education voting on the new state science standards Feb. 19. You are invited to participate in Homework Assignment: Evolution Education. We are asking you to send a fact sheet (PDF version and Word version) about evolution education to the state BoE and anyone else who you think could benefit from it. In addition to the fact sheet, you also need to include a personal note saying who you are and why this issue is important to you.

And don’t forget about our online petition! We’ll be printing it and presenting it to the BoE. There are more than 500 signatures right now. Keep spreading the word.

… and now – we have nearly TWICE as many signatures on this petition than the ID camp has of “scientists of unrelated fields” – in just 3 days! Not 4 years!
