US is “Dissing Darwin”

The latest movie about  Charles Darwin has failed to find a US distributor because the films subject of evolution is just to controversial for American audiences. “Creation” covers Darwin’s life during the time he wrote “On the Origin of Species” and his struggle to equate his religious faith with scientific reason. The film, which opened the Toronto Film Festival and premiered in Britain today, has received many great reviews, including one by Eugenie Scott of the NCSE  However the film which has been sold all over the world from Austria to Australia will not be seen on general release in the US, where (according to a Gallup Poll taken in February 2009) less than 39% of the population believe in the theory of evolution.

What a shame and what shame, on the US that we will not be able to see this movie. I wonder if it will be available on DVD

Everybody knows The Americans are another species the british HATE with an unbridled passion.

The british hate that The Americans are another species, so they’re trying to make them look like… get this… religious people. HAHAHAHA The brits are such poor losers. They invented Afrocentrism to fool the Africans into building their Israel, but that didn’t work. And they NEVER fooled The Americans from Day 0. Columbus couldn’t even do that!!

The british are such dumb, poor and hateful religious liars, losers and cowards.

I”m British, should I take that personally?

I’m actually surprised that this film could not find a distributor in the U.S. while Bill Maher’s Religulous, a film which directly criticizes organized religion, had no problems. Whether this was an intentional swipe at America or not, the poll results still reveals an unacceptably large amount of ignorance and backwards superstition prevalent in American society.
