Teacher heading to astronaut training

Congratulations, Janice Novello!

LAKEWOOD RANCH – Janice Novello, a teacher at Dan Nolan Middle School, has been chosen to participate in a two-week astronaut training program at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.

Novello was selected to join more than 250 science and math teachers from 21 countries and 43 states at the 2007 Honeywell Educators @ Space Academy program that will run from June 18 – 29.
