Smith (himself a science teacher) in a <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.tampabay.com\/files\/letter-to-smith.doc\"><span class=\"at-xid-6a00d83451b05569e201156f535ea1970b\">letter<\/span><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0sent this morning to reconsider his backing of <a href=\"http:\/\/flsenate.gov\/session\/index.cfm?BI_Mode=ViewBillInfo&amp;Mode=Bills&amp;ElementID=JumpToBox&amp;SubMenu=1&amp;Year=2009&amp;billnum=543\" target=\"_blank\">CS\/HB 543<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/flsenate.gov\/session\/index.cfm?BI_Mode=ViewBillInfo&amp;Mode=Bills&amp;ElementID=JumpToBox&amp;SubMenu=1&amp;Year=2009&amp;billnum=1293\" target=\"_blank\">HB 1293<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/flsenate.gov\/session\/index.cfm?BI_Mode=ViewBillInfo&amp;Mode=Bills&amp;ElementID=JumpToBox&amp;SubMenu=1&amp;Year=2009&amp;billnum=2654\" target=\"_blank\">SB 2654<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>The letter writers are FCS supporter\u00c2\u00a0Paul Cottle, FSU physics professor, Florida Gulf Coast associate professor of physics Michael Fauerbach, FSU associate professor of physics Hon Kie Ng, FSU professor of physics Harrison B.
