Its results depend on environmental conditions and interactions between the species present. For the first time scientists are\u00c2\u00a0able to demonstrate that the coevolutionary process is dependent on ecological conditions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2009\/03\/090305150917.htm\">Observing the mechanisms of evolution<\/a> in order to understand how a species adapts to another under different ecological conditions was the goal of researchers at the Laboratoire \u00c3\u2030cologie et \u00c3\u2030volution at CNRS, Universit\u00c3\u00a9 Pierre et Marie Curie and the \u00c3\u2030cole Normale Sup\u00c3\u00a9rieure.
