It will soon be 200 years since the birth of Charles Darwin and 150 years since the publication of On the Origin of Species<\/a><\/em>, a book that outlined an idea that many people today\u00c2\u00a0still find shocking. That all life on Earth, including human life had evolved from a common origin.<\/p>\n

When the new Florida Science Standards became public, the vast majority of objections to them came as a result of the inclusion of Evolution. When we examine these objections we can only draw one conclusion from them. Evolution must be the best-known yet worst-understood of all scientific theories. There are already many good\u00c2\u00a0guides available but this one from the New Scientist\u00c2\u00a0seems to be the most\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0comprehensive.
