Yet another response (first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flascience.org\/wp\/?p=53\">here<\/a>, second <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flascience.org\/wp\/?p=57\">here<\/a>) to our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flascience.org\/wp\/?p=47\">initial statement<\/a> appears, this time in the form of a <a href=\"http:\/\/polkonline.com\/stories\/100506\/opinion_shunned.shtml\">whole guest column<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Jonathan Smith (Sept. 24 letter to the editor) castigates those who believe in the Creator:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Creationism (is) anti-science &#8230; a charade &#8230; a sham &#8230; a con game &#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He proselytizes for the religion of evolutionism. This religion believes, first, there was nothing at all; next, this nothingness exploded; then, some nonintelligence formed it into an awesome design. He calls this religion scientific and says &#8220;Creationism doesn&#8217;t fit in this framework.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Thank goodness!<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Smith further alleges: &#8220;There is no doubt about the theory of evolution in the scientific community. There is no controversy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The facts beg to differ, as does the scientific community, with Mr. Smith.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And from there the article delves into a long list of quotes strung together supposedly casting doubt on evolution.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently working on a response attempting to respond to all three writers.
