Two local middle school students are among seven from Florida and 40 nationally to be named finalists today in a competition promising to name “America’s Top Young Scientist<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

The students are Almas Abdulla of Melbourne, an eighth-grader at Stone Middle in Melbourne, and Collin McAliley of Melbourne Beach, a seventh-grader at Cocoa Beach Jr.\/Sr. High.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
