The Orlando Sentinel education blog<\/a> today reports that there is a lot of interest in the new draft science standards.<\/p>\n

So far, the nearly 4,000 people who have reviewed the proposed standards have logged more than 80,000 ratings of the standards’ individual benchmarks. By comparison, the new math standards — adopted in September — logged just a little more than 43,000 ratings in the full, 60-day comment period.<\/p>\n

So far, most of the people weighing in are Florida teachers and administrators. They account for the 3,076 of those who’ve reviewed the new standards. Another 765 people have checked them out, too.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
