I watched his kid-targeted <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bill_Nye_the_Science_Guy\">science show<\/a> all the time (Science Rules!). Now I love the guy even more. He recently did a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?feature=player_embedded&amp;v=gHbYJfwFgOU\">Big Think interview<\/a> during which he tears into creationism.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I say to the grownups, if you want to deny evolution and live in your world, that&#8217;s completely inconsistent with the world we observe, that&#8217;s fine.\u00c2\u00a0 But don&#8217;t make your kids do it.\u00c2\u00a0 Because we need them.\u00c2\u00a0 We need scientifically literate voters and taxpayers for the future.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Internet is all abuzz about his video and creationists are up in arms over it. So, this post is just a quick shout out from a little corner of the Internet in support of the Science Guy.
