The latest movie about \u00c2\u00a0Charles Darwin has failed to find a US distributor because the films subject of evolution is just to controversial for American audiences. “Creation”<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0covers Darwin’s life during the time he wrote “On the Origin of Species” and his struggle to equate his religious faith with scientific reason. The film,which opened the Toronto Film Festival and premiered in Britain today,has received many great reviews,including one by Eugenie Scott of the NCSE<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 However the film which has been sold all over the world from Austria to Australia will not be seen on general release in the US, where (according to a Gallup Poll taken in February 2009) less than 39% of the population believe in the theory of evolution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
