Knowledge and skills from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthe so-called STEM fields\u00e2\u20ac\u201dare crucial to virtually every endeavor of individual and community life. All young Americans should be educated to be \u00e2\u20ac\u0153STEM-capable,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d no matter where they live, what educational path they pursue, or in which field they choose to work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t had the chance to read through the thick report yet.
