Dr. Alan I. Leshner, chief executive officer of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, will be in Pensacola today to present a public lecture<\/a> about the relationships between science and the community it serves.<\/p>\n

Relationship issues to be discussed include embryonic stem cell research and the teaching of evolution.<\/p>\n

The lecture begins at 6 p.m. and will take place at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, 40 S. Alcaniz St.<\/p>\n
