Celebrate International Year of Astronomy in Florida
The Seminole Community College Planetarium is proud to present “The History of Astronomy,” the first in a series of special events celebrating the 2009 International Year of Astronomy. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Fine Arts Concert Hall at 7 p.m., to be followed by telescope viewings of Saturn and other beautiful celestial objects by the Central Florida Astronomical Society.
