TX: All together now

Texas scientists are standing in unison against antiscientific nonsense!

Scientists from major Texas universities are joining to oppose efforts to bring supernatural and religious teaching into public school science courses.

They say any attempts to teach students “weaknesses” in evolution should be blocked.

The newly formed 21st Century Science Coalition announced Tuesday it has 800 scientists in its growing group.

Here’s the group’s website. Check them out. Florida scientists could learn a few things.

Brilliant! They are already more than halfway to the number of scientists on the disco list “against” evolution. And that list was international!

I’m counting on Don McLeroy to ignore the satanic scientists. If he caves, what will we blog about?

I believe they’ve already beaten the DI’s list, which has a bit over 700 if memory serves. But the best thing about the DI list is this (except for that typo, “theories”):

    5) By signing the Scientific Dissent From Darwinism, are signers endorsing alternative theories such as self-organization, structuralism, or intelligent design?

    No.

    😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

That’s nothing. Project Steve has over 900, and they’re only 1% of all scientists. The Steves represent about 90,000 scientists.

  5. James F says:

Oh I know, I recruited three Steves myself so far. Hoping to pick up a few more from the Texas list! 😀
