Thanks Jonathan, I just signed up for the class, looks really interesting.
May I ask if you are taking it?

  2. Jonathan Smith says:

    Yes I am 🙂

  3. Pierce R. Butler says:

Hey, Chris – this is your big chance…

  4. Chris says:

Pierce, Yes it looks interesting, I’ve already signed up. Jerry Coyne is obnoxious, but I can take it.

  5. Jonathan Smith says:

Chris ,other than reading Jerry Coyne’s book you wont be interacting with him in any way. I’ve met Jerry a couple of times and found him to be quite a nice guy.

  6. Ivorygirl says:

Chris, the reason why you would consider Jerry Coyne obnoxious (even though you have never met the man-and so unchristian of you) is because he has little tolerance for unlettered, non thinking, liars for Jesus like you. Why would you even bother to take this class? I’m sure you have genetics all figured out. Just place a few colored sticks in front of some mating goats and bingo! the offspring come out striped. Who needs science when you have a three thousand year old book written by a bunch of Bronze Age goat herders, right?

  7. Chris says:

Jonathan, that sounds fine, I suppose Coyne’s conclusions and insults
for those who might have questions as to the validity of some of his beliefs are just a little tiring. I’m sure he is an nice guy.

The class sounds very interesting and I’m sure it will be lots of fun. Thanks for finding and posting it.

You’re making me worry. I can always expect your commentary to be pure psychobabble , but I’m beginning to enjoy it.

  9. Ivorygirl says:

    Chris,

Glad you find me amusing. I in return, thank you for beautifully demonstrating the utter barrenness and malevolent uselessness of the Creationism/Intelligent Design movement. You repeatedly show us how you have nurtured your self-inflicted inability to learn anything, into arrogant, religious self-delusion. It would appear that your only reason for living is to proselytize for your invisible sky daddy or slander everything and everyone who does not share your unthinking hatred of science.

    Ivorygirl

You’re more fun than ever. Once again you’ve hit the mark with babble that reaches into the toilet of your mind for those tidbits of meaningless trash that elevates you just a little higher than the apes. The members of your cult should be comforted in having such a well indoctrinated believer around.

  11. Ivorygirl says:

Chris your responses have sunk to a new low, I can’t think of any prior correspondence in which you have exhibited more denunciations and vilifications with less tact than the previous one. Pejoratives and ad hominem denunciations have replaced dispassionate reasoning. Liquefied hate is dripping onto your writing. Like all members of your mindless death cult you assume you can intimidate others with your blubbering bible verses. Well, you can’t. It’s blatantly obvious that you are too cowardly and too stupid to admit that you have not a single, half-assed reason to give us to accept your inane, incessant lies about Evolutionary Biology failing and Creationism magically succeeding.
I’m reminded of the 19th century writer who said, “I hear the voice of approbation not in the dulcet sounds of praise, but in the savage cries of your child-like indignation.”

  12. Jonathan Smith says:

OK guys (Ivorygirl/Chris) enough of the name calling. Stay on topic or I will delete your posts.

  13. Brandon Haught says:

Yea! I am now signed up. Should be fun. I already have Coyne’s book.

  14. Ivorygirl says:

Brandon, I see Panda’s Thumb has linked to your web site http://www.pandasthumb.org/

  15. Brandon Haught says:

Ivorygirl: Yup, pretty cool. But I don’t consider this “my” site. It’s our site. Spread the love … 😉
