Aufwuch, Chris is a mindless, compulsive liar for Jesus, who thinks his religious diatribe will earn him credits with his invisible Bronze Age sky daddy. It’s rather pathetic really.

Ivorygirl, I'm sure you are aware Chris is was too gone in delusion to recover at this time. You just give him the opportunity to pound his chest (heart) and have his weeny flutter. Or is it the other way around. I apologize, could not help myself.

Ivorygirl, Once again you're far from right suggesting I'm here to evangelize sinners. If someone should choose to test the bible due to our conversation without atheist propaganda, then good for them. Initially my interest lies in learning of the proposed step from micro to macro evolution. After many years of searching for the acclaimed process which is said to fit the scientific method, I've come to the conclusion that the claim that all life has arisen from a single living source can be proven to be true with imaginary phylogenic drawings, hypothetical time lines and blind faith. With the reality that so much of evolutionary science is so obviously a farce, I find it incredible that anyone could accept macro-evolution's story as true for the origin of mankind.

But you are right that the path to the salvation offered in the bible is very narrow, yet simple and free to all. The Bible is either true or false. If the book is false then it falls into the large bundle bogus beliefs and it really doesn't matter if you want to believe your related to a pigs tooth or a chimpanzee part. But if it is true and all other acclaimed revelations are false we have a lot to look forward to. When your body dies you don't and you'll live forever in one of two places. If thats not true it doesn't matter, you'll find out for sure when you die.

Funny you should mention John Wesley His lifelong study of the scriptures in the original languages of Latin, Greek an Hebrew produced his belief that there are no mistakes in the Bible, The quote you provided confirms his findings. “If there be any mistakes in the Bible, there may as well be a thousand. If there be one falsehood in that book, it did not come from the God of truth.” You have suggested several mistakes, but none have been shown to be factuall. Even your last babble that you're not a man is silly. As you know mankind is the meaning,

Wesley also said that "without the Spirit, the Word is a dead letter, and without the Word. the Spirit flutters as an illusion."

Chris, No thanks necessary, but I’m sure you don’t need me to confirm your acceptance of the Bronze Age diatribe of a group of Mid Eastern desert dwellers. In case you missed the clue (my name) I’m not a man and I’m fully aware that it makes me less of a person in your book.
You spew out your scriptures like they have an ounce of authority, they don’t and you don’t either. In fact the best you can have is partial Biblical authority since there are parts of the bible that contain errors which obviously cannot be authoritative. Remember what the religious reformer, John Wesley, said: "If there be any mistakes in the Bible, there may as well be a thousand. If there be one falsehood in that book, it did not come from the God of truth." So where lays the basis to pronounce me “spiritually dead?
To accuse me of not thinking is such a misnomer, considering your ideology comes only from blind faith.
What I don’t understand is, why people like you, visit a science web site to regurgitate creationist clap –trap in the disguise of a genuine argument, when your real intentions are to propagate your very narrow religious ideologies?

Ivorygirl, You have a way of confirming scripture with almost every thing you say. Thanks.
Mind and heart are somewhat interchangeable in context. Also heart an spirit may have the same meaning.

Being a natural man, the book says you're not going to understand the things of God because you are spiritually dead. Of course that contradicts your world view which is more about believing than thinking. But here is a few things to ponder.

Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Perhaps this will help you understand what you don't understand.

Sure Chris, Anyone who is brain-washed by a text from a book written thousands of years ago that's loaded with inconsistencies and contradictions have a lot of room to talk about who is a fool. I case you haven’t discovered it yet, we think with our brains not our hearts. Let me re write your last paragraph for you

“The bottom line here is, I mindlessly put faith and trust in an improvable, invisible sky God of a three thousand year old book written by primitive goat herders. You accept the scientifically provable theory of evolution that’s supported by a mountain of evidence. That’s pretty much it.

There all fixed.
